Franktown Meadows Academy & Training is committed to helping riders achieve their equestrian goals. Below are the lesson tiers available for riders from beginning to advanced levels.

 

Please note: Franktown Meadows is not a therapeutic riding program and cannot accommodate special needs or handicapped riders.

 

Evaluation Lesson - $130

 

A mandatory introductory lesson for all new students, designed to ensure proper program placement. This lesson includes a professional evaluation and an individualized training recommendation.

 

Introduction to Riding - $330 (One-Time Package)

 

A package of three lessons for students new to the sport, redeemable within 30 days. This package offers a structured introduction to safety, horsemanship, and the essential fundamentals of riding.

Academy Enrollment Fee - $150

 

A one-time fee for new students, also required if re-enrolling after a lapse in tuition payment. This fee covers administrative costs associated with scheduling and program integration.

Lesson Tiers
 

Little Incredibles - $450/mo ($350 Tuition + $100 Club Fee)

For students ages 5 and under. Includes four lessons per month.

• No lesson roll-over or make-up lessons outside the month

• Access to onsite SNHSA shows

• Priority enrollment in “Kids & Horses Horsemanship” programs

• Eligible for year-end awards in the SNHSA Walk-Trot division

 

Bronze - $500/mo ($400 Tuition + $100 Club Fee)

For the casual rider. Includes four lessons per month.

• No lesson roll-over or make-up lessons outside the month

• Access to onsite SNHSA shows

• Eligible for year-end awards in the SNHSA Walk-Trot division

 

Silver - $850/mo ($700 Tuition + $150 Club Fee)

For riders seeking consistent, progressive instruction. Includes six mounted lessons and two unmounted horsemanship sessions per month.

• One mounted lesson roll-over permitted each month (redeemable during the following month)

• An invitation to two Saturday Horsemanship Activities: youth participants join the Unmounted Horsemanship Sessions, while adults attend supervised Care Days. Please note, no make-ups are offered for these sessions.

• Access to two offsite SNHSA shows annually, plus Reno-area clinics or educational opportunities

• Eligible for year-end awards in the SNHSA Beginner Rider division

 

Gold - $1,650/mo ($1,400 Tuition + $250 Club Fee)

For those dedicated to advancing their riding. Includes eight mounted lessons and unlimited Unmounted Horsemanship Sessions each month.

• One mounted lesson roll-over permitted monthly (redeemable the following month)

• An invitation to all Saturday Horsemanship Activities: youth participants join the Unmounted Horsemanship Sessions, while adults attend supervised Care Days. Please note, no make-ups are offered for these sessions.

• Priority access to all SNHSA shows and Reno-area clinics or educational events

• Eligible for year-end awards across multiple SNHSA divisions
