Franktown Meadows Academy is proud to be the only United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) recognized academy in Nevada and one of just ten on the West Coast. This prestigious recognition signifies that our academy meets USHJA's standards for providing an introduction to the Hunter/Jumper disciplines. Since its founding, our Academy has been dedicated to fostering the value of equine education, prioritizing the safety of both horse and rider, and offering Hunter/Jumper lessons led by skilled, certified instructors.
Riding Lessons
At Franktown Meadows, the Academy emphasizes quality instruction to build a strong foundation for every student. We prioritize the development of flatwork as a crucial precursor to jumping, recognizing that strong flatwork leads to greater success over fences. While our program specializes in Hunter/Jumper training, many students choose to focus solely on flatwork, and jumping is not a requirement. Lessons are tailored to each rider's skill level and offered in both private and group settings.
